The Computer Animation module, I did for Aston University in my final year, was probably one of the most stand out and different modules I did due to the fact there was almost no coding involved. The only other I could compare this to was the cyber security module where there wasn't much coding as well but anyways lets get back on topic. We had to learn blender so we could then model and animate a scene of our coursework.

My final year project (FYP) or individual project (IP) as the module was called at Aston, was our big computer science project for our final year (who would've guessed?). The project you choose can either be a research project or a deliverable (coding) project and mine over time became a mix of the 2, mainly researching the results from the deliverable I created. What my project was on was actually focused on swarm AI and how it could help save people in a disaster scenario.

After finishing my university undergraduate degree, I decided it'd be a good idea to diversify from Unity into other game engines. Especially with the drama surrounding Unity whilst I was still in university with their proposed fee per game installation which was eventually reversed due to the backlash from the game dev community along with other changes.

Way back when I was still in secondary school, my class had the NEA project for our computer science A-level. It was coursework that we where supposed to be doing across the 2 years of our A-levels where we would have to do an extensive document of our progress from the software we would have to make for the project. Comically, this didn't happen as intended as my school failed to provide a consistent, qualified computer science teacher for the 2 years!

Era of Techno Magica was the video game I made for my coursework in my Game Development module at Aston University. In the end I got a 1st in this module.
When I originally came up the idea for the game, I imagined a 3D roguelike with the setting being a cyberpunk fantasy world with some sort of story. There would be fantasy races like elves living in this cyberpunk dystopia where magic and technology horrifically blended together!
