CV Summary
I am a reliable, mature person who takes pleasure in work achievements and learning. I have recently graduated with a 2:1 in Computer Science from Aston University. I have strong IT and technical skills as well as being able to communicate effectively within teams. Alongside my educational experiences, I have also had the opportunity to complete work for the Discover Digital project in May-July 2022, which aimed to support digitally excluded individuals within Stoke-on-Trent. I was involved with designing a relational database for storing project data, inputting data into this structure, and supporting the extraction of data via queries with MS SQL.
Going in more detail about my IT and technical skills, for example, I have plenty of experience using python from my A-levels, my university final year project, and my own personal time using Godot. I have experience in many other coding languages as well so I know how to quickly adapt when learning a new language and the coding environments that come with them. I'm also proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications and I know my way around GitHub and the various project methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
More personally, my interest in computing can be connected to my childhood interest in computer games and experimenting with modding. In my spare time I have also experimented with GameMaker to create my first gaming experience. Whilst in my spare time, I enjoy playing video games, badminton and walking.
